Highlights of the LOW INTEREST LOAN PROGRAM

  • 3% interest rate to landowners
  • ISTS upgrades only
  • Landowner completes one page application from County
  • Special assessment on property taxes through County Auditors office
  • 5 or 10 year payback option on assessment
  • Interest begins accruing after 30 days
  • ISTS must be in the Chippewa River Watershed
  • Landowner must be current on taxes
  • Loan amount cannot exceed value of property
