Welcome to the Chippewa River Watershed Project. A watershed is a body of water (eg. Chippewa River) and all the land that drains to it. Wherever you live, you live in a watershed. Anyone who lives, works, plays or passes through the watershed has an impact. The rivers, lakes and streams of the Chippewa River Watershed are being impaired by excess nutrients, sediments, and fecal coliform bacteria. We are all part a part of the problems, so we all need to be a part of the solution.
